Malaysia is facing a fascinating leadership transition this year. But it has implications beyond the country itself to the future of the APEC group and international perceptions about the outlook for democracy in Southeast Asia.
The Australia Malaysia Business Council (NSW/ACT) is delighted to invite Greg Earl, columnist and former SEA correspondent for the The Australian Financial Review, to discuss the issues facing the new Malaysia.
Greg is a member of the Australia ASEAN Council board; edits Briefing Monthly, a publication of the Asia Society Australia; is the economic diplomacy columnist for the Lowy Institute’s The Interpreter; and contributes to The Australian Financial Review.
His former roles at The Australian Financial Review include former deputy editor, investment editor, opinion editor, Asia Pacific editor, Japan correspondent and Southeast Asia correspondent.
