Nur Farah Karim
Farah is a 4th year student at the University of New South Wales studying a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences (Honours) with a focus on Politics & International Relations. Her area of research emphasises on the theory of post-colonialism and structuralism in Southeast Asia – with particular reference to Malaysia and the topics of multiculturalism, the impact of colonial legacies and ethnic relations in a multicultural state.
Farah has joined AMBC to utilise her skills in event management and social media marketing to assist the organisation while learning more about the communities and businesses in both Malaysia and Australia.
Besides this, she is also the current Chairperson of the Malaysian Student Council of Australia – NSW (MASCA NSW) and Secretary of ASEAN Society UNSW. She was also the former President of the Malaysian Students’ Organisation UNSW (MSO UNSW).
